The following are facts on the 24 June Champions Trophy match between Germany and South Korea.

Champions Trophy Head-to-heads
> South Korea have met Germany six times before in the Champions Trophy and have collected no wins and just one draw from these six confrontations.
> Their last meeting in the Champions Trophy took place in Kuala Lumpur in 2007 with Germany emerging victorious 2-1. An early goal by Korea's Woon Kon Yeo (5') was overshadowed by second half strikes from Niklas Emmerling (41') and Sebastian Draguhn (55' PC).
> The only draw in this encounter took place in Lahore in 1998, when the two nations reached a 3-3 stalemate.
> These countries are also slated to meet in a 15 August Group A match at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Team Facts Germany
> Titleholders Germany are off to a disappointing start, having earned only one point in their first two matches.
> Germany themselves hold the record for worst performance by defending champions by finishing sixth and last in 1998 after having won the title in 1997.
> Germany's total of four goals from penalty corners leads all nations at the 2008 Champions Trophy. Markus Weise's side has scored one goal from open play.

Team Facts South Korea
> South Korea have conceded 12 goals in their first two group phase matches, one fewer than they allowed in seven group phase matches at the 2007 Champions Trophy in Kuala Lumpur.
> Korea is the only nation that is still without a point in the 2008 Champions Trophy.
> South Korea are winless in their last five Champions Trophy matches. Twice before (1999-2000 and 2001), they have gone a team record six successive CT matches without a victory.

Player Facts Germany
> Florian Keller is Germany's leading goalscorer in this tournament as the author of three of Germany's five CT goals in Rotterdam.
> Keller is tied with five other Germans on 12 career CT goals. Only six countrymen have scored more often in this event. The half dozen includes Keller's current teammate Matthias Witthaus (15), who is still scoreless in Rotterdam this week.
> Jan-Marco Montag's goal against Holland on Sunday, 22 June, means that he has now scored in five successive editions of the Champions Trophy, tying the German record shared by Carsten Fischer (1985-1989), Stefan Blöcher (1985-1989) and Michael Hilgers (1986-1990).
